Firstly, you need to find your charger. You can just borrow it or buy one. Actually, a fast charge is not really required. The batteries tend to charge better with the slow charge. Just open the hood on your car and then locate the battery. It is known that some are located right up front with terminals on the top and some are not. If you find that the terminals are dirty or corroded, you have to clean them. After that, you need to look at the location of the battery and try to see if the alligator clamps will fit in the location of the battery if you find that the batteries do not need to be removed.

Secondly, after you have cleaned the battery and removed it on the work bench or on some wood, you should never on bare concrete.

If the location of the terminal is on the side, you do not need to be panic. Most of the auto parts commonly carry adapters which screw in, the worst case a bolt with the same thread that can be used. You have to make sure that your charger is set to off then plug it in. Then, you should connect negative lead to negative terminal and also positive lead and to positive terminal. Now you can set the charger to the slow or the low amp setting.

Thirdly, you have to be certain after the battery is charged; this can be installed back in the car if it was removed. You should be sure for removing any adapters that you installed before you reinstall. After that, you can connect negative lead to negative terminal and the positive to the positive.

I lost my wall charger and only have my car charger. Since its cold out i don't want to leave my phone in the cold to charge. So can i use a car battery charger connect it to my car charger and charge my phone that way?
